When You Can't Change the Outcome
Dennis Karp, grieving the loss of his son, walks through King David's seven days on the floor in 2 Samuel 12 and what faith does when God's answer is no.
Dennis Karp came home to Son of David this week carrying the hardest year of his life. In January he buried his son Ryan. He meant to preach on the new covenant, then changed his mind the night before and turned to 2 Samuel 12, where King David lies on the floor for seven days praying for a child God has already said will die.
If the answer had already come back no, and you were the one on that floor, what would you do when you finally got up?
