Every year on Yom Teruah, Israel waited on the shofar without knowing which day the new moon would be sighted, so they kept watch for two days. Just in case. Past teachings at Son of David have called this feast a joyful reminder of the coming King, and this year Dennis Karp was back with us to bring the morning message, carrying a family road trip from 1960 and two trumpet passages, one a caution and one a promise.
