A Feast of Faith

On the first day of Sukkot, Michael Thomas reads Leviticus 23 as a picture of the relationship God has always wanted with his people.

Michael Thomas came back from New Zealand for the first day of Sukkot. Past teachings at Son of David have called it simply the feast, and tradition says anyone who missed it in Jerusalem never knew what rejoicing was. Which is a little strange. It’s also the week we sit in flimsy huts on purpose to remember a barren wilderness.

If two generations walked through the same desert and watched the same manna fall, what made one of them grumble while the other got ready to take the land?
